The $20,000 50-50 they held, with the drawing appropriately on Veteran's Day, all tickets were sold so LFTW will receive $10,000 and the winner also won $10,000 and I sure hope the winner has great plans for that amount of money!!!! -- ANYBODY who has a source for inexpensive - even reconditioned - laptops, I would LOVE to hear about it!!! -- I have been very active in supporting the troops since 2002 (maybe because my son was in Mosul, Iraq for a year in 2003-2004). -- Donations are tax deductible. -- PC games that you may have on hand that are not being used anymore are needed, and original PlayStation games - we have one placed at Walter Reed -- January 4th, 2006 - See the articles on the bottom of this webpage. The first article is a write up in the northwest region January 2006 issue of Thunder Press, a free Harley Davidson magazine. The Laptops for the Wounded part of the article starts towards the bottom of the first column (look for the blue star). The second article is from the Cody Enterprise. -- March 2006 - Click here to see the February 2006 newsletter. We have now placed 4 laptops at Walter Reed and sent a full 2-controller Playstation with 6 games that was donated to me by a woman named Nicole (who is one of our original donators) in Georgia. We also have placed 2 laptops/webcams at Balboa Naval Medical Facility in San Diego. -- July 2006 - On 7/8/06 I was set up at the Rally in the Alley in Cody, Wyoming selling raffle tickets, patches, and my pipe bead chokers that I make myself, and held a 50/50 that netted us $61. I will also be selling Patches and Pipe Bead Chokers.
